2026 Signature / Two-Star Exhibition

The Utah Watercolor Society is pleased to invite members with Signature or Two-Star Status to participate in our 2026 Signature & Two-Star Exhibition, celebrating America the Beautiful in honor of our nation’s 250th birthday.

This is not a political theme, but rather an opportunity to celebrate the beauty of the country we call home.

What does America the Beautiful mean to you?

Perhaps it’s simply the extraordinary light that falls across familiar places, the grandeur of our National Parks, a quiet rural landscape, the warmth of family, the spirit of community, the heritage of our towns, the majesty of wildlife, flowers, or objects that inspire you.

Interpret the theme in your own unique voice—or surprise us. We hope you’ll stretch, experiment a little, and create something worthy of this milestone celebration.

We are also delighted to announce that this year’s awards will be judged by Patrick E. Poce, Executive Director of the Eccles Community Art Center. Patrick has curated hundreds of exhibitions during his distinguished career and brings a wealth of experience evaluating artistic excellence, originality, craftsmanship, and presentation. His lifelong commitment to the arts has earned him both the 2025 Ogden Mayor’s Lifetime Contribution to the Arts Award and the Weber County Commission Crystal Bowl Award.
