October Paint Out
We had a great time on October 15th painting Pete's Rock and then eating at the Porupine Pine Pub & Grille. Our numbers were few; nevertheless it was all good. See you at Mueller Park in Bountiful next month on November 5th. Jenny Love says she has some good ideas on where to eat.
September Paint Out
Where Were You?! Maggie Harrison and Ann Galt spent a spectacular Utah morning painting in Bingham Canyon near Copperton Park. It was well worth the drive. We made the Kennecott Mine look beautiful.
Hope you see our paintings at the UWS October Monthly Members Meeting

After we will painted the late light from the parking lot of the Sons of the Utah Pioneers.
Paint Out News
We had another fabulous year's end at Light on the Reef, Torrey, 2016. The weather was fair, with a breeze. We 32 Artists had great success both painterly and sales wise. We displayed 78 Paintings and forty sold. Some of those sold are going into the new center for Entrada to be part of their permanent collection. What is now a three bedroom home next to Robber's Roost, will expand to space for groups of eighty. We all came home with extra paintings and sketches and bug bites in our hair.
Maura took almost an entire frame shop down to ensure quality framing. Thank you Maura for all that you put into the trip. Also thanks to the Entrada Board and Leah and the Park Service. We painted more historic buildings this year. The towns people responded. The entries were even better than ever.
April Paint Out
The paint out crew met this month at the Southeast corner of the valley. Hidden Valley Park was beautiful and windy and we had six painters and two more to join us for lunch.
March Paint Out
The weather was mostly cloudy for our Paint Out on March 12th. Eight of us had great success at our mountains.

Lunch and watercolors, a great combination!
A Few solid painter showed, small but very sincere group...The group was small, but the production was big...
Post Trolley Square Paint Out
It turned out great, despite Sundance tickets being passed out and creating long lines. The best part about that was we had models that stood still long enough to be 'captured'.
Maura continues to bring new people.( Welcome to Paul and Leslie Williams and Rebecca Fore) In all we had 13 painters plus extras for lunch at the Edge of the Desert Pub. A great time was had at the show and tell, my favorite activity since grade school.
Post November Paint Out
Another great paint out!
Trolley Square, inside and out, is a million paintings just waiting to be painted. Ten of us were there, and the "after party" at the Pub was delicious.
